TO WEDDINGS
This is your complete guide of what you can expect from me as your photographer or videographer. How I approach each part of the day, what I look for and how I get the images that are often missed by others. Or How I capture the feelings as images…?

So you want to know how it all works, how I go about my business photographing or filming your wedding. What you’re getting yourself in for.
As immature as I may act at times with my silly demeanour, I take my job very seriously and I’m incredibly driven to provide the highest of service for you. My off switch doesn’t exist during your wedding day. I’m always watching, listening, moving and looking out for the moments that haven’t even happened yet, ready to pounce. I capture moments as they naturally happen without the aid of a “shot list”.
I follow the light, the energy, the action, the emotion, the love and most of all my gut. I want to create beautiful images that are REAL, that make you feel like you’re back at your wedding again. There’s no point creating gorgeous but shallow images if they make you say to yourself “yeah we looks good but I felt like such a dick doing those stupid poses!”
I GET INVOLVED
PERIOD!
I’m not the creepy person who will be silent and blend into the shadows. Obviously there is a time and a place for that (silent, not creepy). I will chat to your guests, eat the canapés/cake, throw a few dance moves. Basically a professional wedding crasher who is more of a wedding guest than hired help. I always hear “how are you friends with the couple then?”.
This builds high levels of trust. In turn lets your guests feel comfortable enough to let their hair down.
STYLE
I don’t fit the template of just one style or define myself as documentary, fine-art, editorial, natural light or creative. I just shoot what I think looks beautiful in the most creative way possible. I guess you could say that I have aspects of all of the above throughout my work. I always keep in mind three words that inspire my actions every time I pick up a camera……

I’m presuming that your party is high on your priority list, and you can clearly see that photographing and filming the party is probably my favourite part of the day too.
It’s just as important to cover as the ceremony. How often do you have a dance floor filled with all of your best friends?! None of this leaving after 5 minutes of dancing BS.
Capturing this atmosphere is what I do best!

Words alone will never be enough to describe the incredible way that Mike captured our wedding. From the very moment we spoke with Mike we knew we wanted him to be part of our special day, he’s genuinely one of the most talented in the business, the way he photographs/videos isn’t just about documenting moments, but instead he captures the emotion, energy and presence of them. Mike felt like our guest on the day, keeping everyone relaxed and most importantly having fun with us all. Mike became our friend and all our guests loved him. Both my husband and I said on our wedding day how much we wish the day could last forever. Now thanks to Mike, we have those amazing moments captured in a way that will always take us right back.
